Butterball

Butterball, unlike most rescue dogs, was fortunate to be born into Sweet Paws Rescue, so he has never know the hard life many animals had to endure before being rescued. He was born around President's Day weekend, so Butterball and his siblings were named after Presidents and First Ladies. He was named George, but 10 weeks later after we adopted him we changed his name to Butterball. The name fit him he was the biggest in the litter and when we went to visit him at 5 weeks old and he was trampling all over his litter mates.

Our life has changed so much and we can not imagine our lives without this big goofball. He will be 5 years old Valentine's Day, 2019. We now foster for SPR helping those pups in need find their forever family.
