Jax

Popeye (now know as Jax) was found in a rural area in Alabama by RUFF Rescue. He was approximately 35 pounds, skin and bones, sitting on a bag of garbage. He was covered in mange and fleas. He needed a blood transfusion, and they were worried that he would not survive. His rescuers named him Popeye, because they knew he would be big and strong one day. It took a while, but Popeye recovered and was transported to Massachusetts to Sweet Paws Rescue to find his forever home. We adopted Jax in October of 2017 and are over the moon in love with him! He is happy, sweet, and loves to play with his toys. He loves to go for walks, play in the park, but is also a huge cuddle bug. He is now a hefty 70 pounds and living a great life in Pennsylvania.
