Sadie and Turbo

We adopted siblings, a brother and sister rescued from horrific conditions in Alabama. Our friends and family thought we were crazy adopting two pups at the same time. They arrived on December 13, 2018, we picked them up in Massachusetts on a snowy, cold Wednesday. Last winter is a blur of potty training, puppy classes, and endless hours of training, both separately and together. We read about littermates and figured we were doomed to failure based on the stories we’d read. We researched trainers and found one who was experienced with littermates. She was positive and encouraging, we knew we could succeed with her guidance. Here we are, over a year later and cannot imagine life without these two fur babies. They are lovable and funny, smart, and receptive to training. We’re not quite sure as to who saved who.
